Description:A proven healthcare Project Manager is needed to join our firm in our Cincinnati, Ohio office. The Project Manager should have experience leading projects of varying scales with multiple healthcare clients. The Project Manager will be responsible for client relationships and management of client and consultants contracts. The Project Manager will implement GBBN’s Guiding Principles (Vision and Mission) by managing the research, planning, design and construction administration for multiple projects and teams. The Project Manager is expected to publish and present original professional articles and work. We intend for this position to have a chargeable utilization of 60% on projects with the balance of time shared between marketing and strategic responsibilities.
Duties:• Contribute to business development by establishing and maintaining client relationships;
• Manage client relationships from project sale through project delivery;
• Lead the development and presentation of project proposals and interviews;
• Define the project scope and negotiate client and consultant contracts;
• Set, communicate and achieve project design and financial goals with project team;
• Achieve client and staff satisfaction with every project;
• Collaborate with firm management to ensure appropriate staffing of project teams;
• Set, communicate and keep current the internal project work plan and project schedule;
• Lead client presentations;
• Lead issue resolution with project team and client through effective communication;
• Review financial reports and monitor billing and account receivable activity;
• Review and approve invoices to client and from consultants;
• Maintain a continuous pursuit of relevant professional development.
Qualifications:• 15 years of related experience with minimum 5 years of PM experience;
• Professional License in related field (Architect or Interior Designer);
• Strong healthcare design and technical skills;
• Ability to manage project teams effectively and meet project schedules;
• Leadership style that is based on building consensus;
• Ability to balance the needs of projects with corporate goals;
• Desire to grow team professionals through education and mentoring;
• Comfortable presenting to small or large groups, internally and externally;
• Proficient in technologies related to design industry, such as: Revit, SketchUp, Autocad, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, etc.).
